They were featured prominently during the fall 2009 season, with many individual major fashion designers showcasing them as a part of their fall collections. The great thing is that this fun footwear is no longer relegated to the seedy side of culture; you have people of all walks of life wearing them these days.
Realize that we are talking about THIGH HIGH boots here… not knee high boots. While knee high boots stop just below the knee, thigh high boots extend above the knee with some reaching as high as the upper thigh. When most people think about this kind of boot, they are apt to thing of a polyurethane material, usually in either black or white. The great thing is that in today’s thigh high boot market, you can find them made from all kinds of materials from leather or suede, patent leather, or vinyl.
